An Exploration of Honey by Slow Food Upstate
June 21 at the Café 10 until 11:30 am
Join Renato Vicario, Slow Food Upstate's taste education leader for an around the world honey exploration.
We will taste 19 single nectar or mono-culture honeys from around the world, and one honey product.
You will learn to your all your senses as a measuring instrument in understanding honey.
Honeys range from locally produced such as Gallberry, Tupelo, and Sourwood, all cataloged on the Ark of Taste, as well as Buckwheat honey. There will be other Ark of Taste and Presidia honeys such as high mountain Rhododendron honey, and Black Bee Sicilian citrus blossom honey.
We will learn about what you can do to protect bees, and have a delicious afternoon.
