The Greater Greenville Master Gardeners Association cordially invites you to our annual garden symposium, February 2, 2013.
This year’s theme is “Hortitopia,” a term coined by MG Marian St.Clair. “Hortitopia” represents the essence of gardening in this area, a utopia of opportunities for diversity in landscape and vegetable gardening.
Brochures with registration information may be downloaded here. Early registration is encouraged
Kirk Brown will portray John Bartram, America's first and foremost botanist and plant collector. His humor, his passion and his achievements will entertain, inspire and awe as he shares his hope for the future of the earth and the people who inhabit it.
Dr. Larry Mellichamp will bring excitement to your horticultural pursuits that will reinvigorate your inquisitive intellect. Get ready to take a walk on the wild side and grow some “Bizarre Botanicals”.
Tim Spira celebrates the rich diversity of natural plant communities found in the Piedmont region of the Carolinas. He will show us how to combine plants in aesthetically pleasing designs that mimic plant associations found in nature.
